PLAST EURASIA ISTANBUL MAINTAINS ITS EVER-INCREASING SUCCESS 85 % OF THE EXHIBITON SPACE HAS BEEN ALREADY SOLD Due to the high production & labor costs in European plastics industry, new investments in machineries, chemicals, raw materials, sub-industries have been steering towards Turkey with its technical infrastructure and logistic advantages. Therefore Plast Eurasia Istanbul, the biggest trade event of the plastics in Eurasia, has become prominent in Eurasia and has had a gradually increasing demand & interest. Organized annually by Tuyap, in cooperation of PAGEV (Turkish Plastics Industry Foundation), Plast Eurasia has been drawing great interest in 2013 owing to its increasing success rate. This year’s edition is held between December 5 – 8, 2013 in Tuyap Fair Convention & Congress Center within 9 halls & 90.000 sqm indoor exhibition area and 85% of the exhibition space has been already booked. In 2012, fair played host to 1085 companies from 43 countries and 38,726 visitors from 86 countries which showed 23% increase in visitors number compared to the previous edition. As well as making a major contribution to industry to reach new markets and strengthen the competitiveness, Plast Eurasia Istanbul 2012 also directed significant amount of investments. As a result of extensively executed local & international marketing activities throughout the year, Plast Eurasia is expected to have over 40,000 professionals in 2013.
