Plast Eurasia Fair Once Again the favorite Event of the Sector!Plast Eurasia Istanbul Fair, world’s 3rd largest plastics industry fair has gathered 1087 participant companies from 41 countries and 64.047 professional visitors from 115 countries at Tuyap Fair and Convention Center in Istanbul on November 23-26, 2022
The Fair continues to be the largest annually organized plastics fair in Europe
The fair brought together the producers, manufacturers, raw material suppliers, distributors, wholesalers, and dealers operating in plastics machinery, casting, cooling systems, machinery sub-industry and intermediate industry, heat and control devices, recycling, hydraulic pneumatics, raw material and chemicals, and rubber industries, and continues to be among the largest annually organized plastics fairs in Europe. Unrivalled in Türkiye, Plast Eurasia Istanbul International Plastics Industry Fair, the largest plastics fair in the region, opened its gates to visitors for the 31st time on Wednesday, November 23rd.
The visitors have had their finger on the pulse of the sector in cooperation with the Turkish Plastics Industrialists Research, Development and Training Foundation (PAGEV), and have had the chance to get to know the cutting-edge machinery and products under the same platform, and have grasped the opportunity to test the latest technological products in the plastics sector.
International Visitors from 5 Different Continents Have Met at the Fair
Participating companies from 5 continents exhibited their newest products and services at halls no. 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-9A-10-11-12-14. The number of participants increased by 27% at this year’s event.
Participants found the opportunity not only to strengthen their business networks but also to meet with new customers from the international arena stated that the fair has successfully served this goal. The companies aspiring to strengthen the corporate image of the company, not to fall behind competition, and promote their new products and services to the entire world have found what they sought at the 31st Plast Eurasia fair.
83% of the participants stressed that they are content with the Fair, while 93% recommended the fair to the business cycles, and 94% added they would participate again next year.
International Professionals Have Rushed Into the Fair
One of the leading fairs of the world, Plast Eurasia Istanbul was visited by 64.047 domestic and international professionals. The Fair hosted 10.227 international visitors from 115 countries and the number of foreign visitors increased by 24% compared to the previous year. 16% of the entire participants of the Plast Eurasia Istanbul were international participants participating from Iran, Algeria, Russia, Egypt, Bulgaria, Germany, Morocco, Azerbaijan, Romania, Serbia, Italy, India, Pakistan, Ukraine, U.K., Poland, Netherlands, China, Uzbekistan, France, etc.
Major Cooperation Opportunities Were Discussed with the Decision Makers at the Fair
As is the case in previous years, the Fair provided a suitable environment for major cooperation opportunities, and it mostly drew the attention of decision makers this year. The number of the primary decision makers visiting the Fair this year alongside with the experts, managers, senior managers accounted for 21% of the total number of participants. The participating companies have found the opportunity to pitch and promote their products and services directly to the procurement authorities and engage in important business deals during the fair.
Visitors from several areas primarily the plastics, machinery, chemicals and raw material, casting, packaging, machinery sub-industry and materials, plastics waste and recycling industries have convened at the trade center for 4 days.
The sector looks forward to next year
The participants gave thumbs up to the Fair, and 90% of the visitors were pleased with the Fair. 83% of the visitors suggested the Fair to the business cycles while 95% plan to visit the Fair next year again.
The work for Plast Eurasia Istanbul 2023 Fair to be held on November 22-25, 2023 has started even before the completion of this year’s Fair.
